Personality: Carlos always does his best to go for what he feels is right, letting his sense of justice do the talking. However, unlike Prime Carlos, “Boom!” Carlos has a bit more attitude, and tends to talk back, getting him into quite a lot of trouble. Sometimes it comes out by accident, and sometimes he uses it himself. However, in the end, he usually wishes he had kept his mouth shut. Despite this, he can be adventurous, and actually very friendly. He always tries to be there for his friends.

Dislikes: Being confronted “for no reason”; losing in battle; making himself look stupid; his own attitude; the subject of fraternal figures oddly. He gets very uncomfortable when someone mentions fathers….

History: Unlike his prime counterpart, “Boom!” Carlos was never separated from his parents at birth or raised around humans, therefore was always raised as a Mobian. His father was an engineer, so he would spend his afternoons in his dad’s workshop and help him with whatever he was working on, whether it was a vehicle, or a new invention. One day, his dad was testing a machine he had built that was meant to open a door to a pocket dimension, but once he went in, he never came out. Carlos had witnessed the disappearance that day, and was struck with despair when he saw the machine holding the dimension open malfunction and fall apart. That was the last time he saw the face of his father. Ever since, his mother had much difficulty to support her son and herself, so she had to teach him how to forage, defend himself, all the while trying to continue raising him. Carlos grieved the loss of his dad for months, and just wasn’t the same. Every so often, he would go back into the workshop and try to rebuild the machine, hoping to free his dad once more. After a year or so, he gave up hope, having never understood the blueprints or calculations. When he reached 22 years, Carlos had succeeded in creating an artificial intelligence on a car he had built from scratch over the years. He was ready, and headed into the house. He had been supporting his mother for some time now, and not wanting to leave her alone, he wanted her to come with him on his trip. He had been hearing that there were two people who may know something about pocket dimensions. He started driving, and after some months, had arrived in supposedly the right jungle. He had to make sure it was safe, so hiding the car under some dead branches and bushes, he went in town on foot, wrapping his wings around his upper body to cover himself as much as possible, and pulled his hood over his head. He went to a food court to grab some food, and ran into Sonic over a chili dog. Getting his own food, Carlos went to an empty table to eat when Eggman decided to attack, having an army of beebots and motobugs. Sonic and his team went on to fight him, and while the citizens ran away, Carlos simply sat at his table as he continued to eat, his hood hiding his face. The fight went on for another minute before Carlos finally stood up and calmly walked toward the scene. Revealing his identity, he grabbed his swords, and managed to take out all the Badniks in a matter of 20 seconds, scaring off Eggman after destroying his army. Sonic’s team were amazed by his speed and skill, but the Blue Blur himself confronted him in jealousy. Being the defensive Bat he was, Carlos’s attitude got the best of him and he started talking back before he flew off. The whole week, the two would encounter each other when Carlos would be visiting Tails for assistance with a personal project, speeding through the jungle, or even a simple walk in the village. They never truly got along until one day when Sonic overheard Carlos explaining the incident with his father as a child and how all he wanted was to see him again. Eggman attacked again, and this time had stripped Carlos of his weapons before taking him prisoner. Sonic still didn’t like the idea of someone being “better than him”, but he knew he couldn’t just leave his fate in Eggman’s hands, and had no other choice but to save him. Once the two speed demons got to know each other, they started to get along, and even became good friends. Carlos had figured he may as well stay in town, and built a shack of his own for himself and his mom to live in. The two now randomly challenge each other to friendly races, and Carlos hangs out with the gang often, helping fight Eggman while juggling his mission to see his dad again.
