Chapter 1: The End?


The alarms were buzzing, and the Wheel of Power was shifting again. Dr. Tezla used the intercom. "The following drivers will enter the..." He stopped when he saw that the Wheel stopped with a certain symbol glowing green. All three alarms were at the highest pitch, all three lights green. "No!" Dr. Tezla said. Racing Drones of every kind started coming out of the portal. "The Drones are coming through the portal!" Peter said, grabbing Gig, "WHERE ARE OUR DRIVERS!?" "I believe the drivers are asleep, Dr. Tezla." Gig said, unfazed. "Well then where is Ivo!?" Peter asked, worriedly. "I haven't seen Dr. Eggman within the past week." Gig answered. Four last cars came out of the portal: Drone Sonic, Drone Knuckles, RD-T1, and finally, Gelorum. "Destroy all the organics!" Gelorum ordered. She pressed some keys on her holographic dash, and her deck full of every Accelecharger started glowing. Soon afterward, her car glowed a gold aura of energy. Every Drone's car glowed a different color, each having a different power. "They have them all!" Dr. Tezla said, scared, "THERE'S NO WAY TO STOP THEM!!!" The whole Acceledrome was exploding from the destruction. One of the Drones rammed Vert's car on its roof, causing it to explode. Drone Sonic started driving towards Sonic's car, and used the Monument Realm Accelecharger to slice through. "Always knew I'd be the best!" he said. Another Drone rammed into Porkchop's car, causing it to explode on contact, but leaving the Drone unscathed. Another Drone had halfed Nolo's car. When Dr. Tezla looked at a certain direction, he saw RD-T1 holding what looked like a lifeless Tails. Everyone else's cars started exploding as well. Dr. Tezla looked towards the center of the Acceledrome, and saw Dr. Eggman with Gelorum. "No!" he said. Dr. Eggman and Gelorum looked at him, and both smiled evilly. Then Dr. Tezla looked in front of him, and saw a Drone Jet charging its energy cannon. And it was facing him! After finished charging, it shot the control center. All the Racing Drones left the Acceledrome, which exploded to nothing but rubble. Quickly, the Earth was overtaken and conquered by the Racing Drones. "Wake up, Dr. Tezla." Gelorum said. Dr. Tezla quickly woke up, realizing it was only a nightmare. "Wake up, Dr. Tezla." Gig said, "The drivers are waiting for you in the conference room." Dr. Tezla sighed, and sat up on his bed, and Gig prepared his bio-suit for him. Once Peter got it on, he started walking to the conference room.
